Overview

ibex. Pakistan is looking for an “Software Engineer" who shall build, design, and deploy web-based applications

Responsibilities

  • Build, design and deploy web based applications
  • Collaborate with manager and business stakeholders to refine and prioritize new requirements
  • Involved in architecture level design of enterprise applications
  • Verify system functionality, quality, and accuracy
  • Review design, analysis and code for quality and standards
  • Adhere high-quality development practices while following projects/tasks deadlines
  • Attend peer-review meetings of solution designs and related code
  • Relationship with internal teams of QA, UX, DBA, Reporting & Application Development Teams
  • Communication with onshore team
  • Support deployment of releases
  • Ensure production data is not used for testing or development
  • Ensure that operational information, custom application accounts, user IDs, and passwords used for testing are erased from a test application system immediately after the testing is complete and before the application becomes active or is released to customers
  • Ensure that no code is installed in the system that bypasses the authorized access control mechanisms found in operating systems or access control packages
  • Maintain awareness of the progress and status of all work being undertaken and take corrective actions
  • Provide assistance and guidance to less experienced members of the development team towards ensuring successful completion of tasks and the delivery of efficient and acceptable systems

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics or Engineering-related discipline
  • 2-4 years of professional experience
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Javascript, Jquery, Reactjs, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB competing technologies
